Where to Go On
Your Africa Tour or Safari

With its large land mass, Africa is the world’s second largest continent. It is estimated to have 1 billion people and with the emergence of South Sudan, 57 separate countries. Add in the hundreds – even thousands of languages and dialects – and you have an enormous amount of options to choose from when visiting Africa.

Since Africa is so vast, it is virtually impossible to see it all – at least on one trip. To answer the question – Where To Go? – it is useful to view Africa as a continent that is made up of 5 regions: North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, Southern Africa and East Africa. We can help you with your travel plans to Southern Africa, East Africa, Central Africa and West Africa.

Here is a quick overview of the tourist highlights of Africa’s five regions.

  • Angola and the two Congos are resource rich countries which do not at this time attract many leisure travelers. Although there is gorilla trekking in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. However, because of the importance of oil and other natural resources, Angola and the two Congos are primarily business travel destinations. Other central African countries include Gabon, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.
  • In Central Africa, we can help you plan trips in Rwanda and Uganda.

North Africa

Stretching from Morocco to Egypt and bordered on the north by the Mediterrean Sea. Primarily Arab, it is a favorite beach and cultural tourism destination for European travels.

  • Historically, Egypt has been the top tourist destination in North Africa, combining the world famous Pyramids and other monuments from antiquity with fine beaches on the Red Sea. The North African countries include: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Egypt. At present we don’t offer tours to North Africa.
