Kuro Tarangire

Kuro Tarangire completes the Nomad Tanzania bush circuit – now you can almost visit every corner of Tanzania while always staying in an eco friendly camp, run with the usual Nomad finesse. The food and guides as always are fantastic, but it is the location of Kuro Tarangire which really makes it special. Wonder along the River Tarangire, looking for signs of wildlife that was there in the night, the freedom here is unrivalled. From June to October Tarangire is alive with elephant and buffalo, as well as the other game species – the landscape is different to anything else in Northern Tanzania.

Kuro Tarangire offers a really wild experience whilst never compromising on comfort or guiding. The pace is very much that of the bush, and you really feel yourself sink into the natural harmonies of this wild part of Northern Tanzania. The footprint is very light, and days are spent watching the wildlife meander in and around camp from your own comfy verandah.
